About us
- Assuric is an AI-powered compliance platform (B2B SaaS) specialised for healthtech and healthcare, enabling both healthtech companies and healthcare organisations to meet essential requirements in a matter of days, not months.
- This hasn't been done before! And we're solving an impactful problem… We're accelerating the deployment and adoption of much needed healthtech innovations and AI, whilst ensuring safety, effectiveness and security.
- Not only that, we're moving fast and growing incredibly quickly. Since starting out just two years ago, we now work with 90+ incredible companies and organisations, including Accurx, DrDoctor, Tandem, VitVio, multiple NHS Hospital Trusts, Accenture and more, scaling to seven-figure ARR.
- We're an Entrepreneurs First company, and also backed by an excellent group of VC and angel investors.
- 💡Product described by users as "transformational" and by one as "the best piece of software they've ever seen"

About the role
- We're looking for a curious, driven medical student to join us as a Product Intern, supporting the team across product, regulatory strategy and operations.
- This is a unique chance to see how a fast-growing healthtech startup actually works from the inside - while bringing your clinical perspective to bear on real product decisions.
- As a small, fast-moving team, you'll get broad exposure across the business rather than being siloed into one narrow task list. Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to get stuck in are essential.
What's in it for you?
- Direct exposure to the healthtech regulatory landscape - clinical safety, MHRA/UKCA requirements, information governance and more - the kind of practical knowledge that's hard to get from lectures or placements.
- The chance to directly influence product decisions and contribute your own ideas, not just observe.
- Technical contributions to internal tools, workflows, and even the chance to contribute code directly to the Assuric product (subject to technical experience).
- Hands-on experience with modern AI and automation tools (Claude, n8n and similar), giving you a genuinely useful skillset well beyond medicine.
- Close working relationship with the founding team (including our CEO and CTO), and insight into how clinicians and engineers build tools together.
- A front-row seat to a company solving one of the most important problems in healthcare right now: helping safe, effective technology reach patients faster.
What you'll do
- Product - work with the team on new feature ideas, help shape our roadmap, and bring a clinician's-eye view to how our platform should work for healthcare organisations and health tech companies. Unique opportunity to contribute to real features and understand production software engineering workflows.
- Regulatory & compliance research - help our team stay on top of the fast-moving regulatory landscape (clinical safety, information governance, medical device regulation) that underpins our product.
